It was with a thickoWhen I told him the UK net migration figure for2022 was around 500,000 he laughed, told me I was mad and since brexit the UK had stopped all migration. It made me wonder how many other thickos are there who are just as clueless. This latest Bill is the sixth since 2015, all of which have failed. The reality is the UK has an ageing population so will need more immigration to just stay afloat. The Brexit idea of causing businesses to move abroad and so remove the need for workers is working, but will it not have the obvious long term consequences ?
